Our Mission

To support the people of the Philippines during times of financial stress caused by natural disasters, medical emergencies, death of family members and affordable education.

About Us

The Filipino word, “bayan” means community and “bayanihan” is the tradition of members of the community helping each other out in times of need. It is often depicted by villagers carrying a family’s house from one location to another.

A nationwide survey in the Philippines in 2020 showed that only 24.7% of the Filipinos have savings. Most of them live from paycheck to paycheck, and when tragedy strikes like an illness, natural calamity, or an accident, they have no funds to fall back on. This reality hinders Filipinos to have a good quality of life and impedes opportunities for them to unlock their potential.

Our intention at the Bayanihan Pacific Foundation is to extend our support across the Pacific acknowledging our part of a connected global community.

Spreading compassion across the pacific
